If you have had a good first 8 holes, watch out at Hole 9. Trees on the left as well as a lake that winds its way throughout
the right side of the fairway can make this hole quite daunting. Whether you play smart golf, or like to grip it and rip it, the ’risk
and reward’ is always a consideration here.
Hole 12 was dubbed the ‘7-10 Split’ by some visiting pros, and the name stuck. Just as the ‘7-10’ is the most infamous splits in bowling,
the golfer must in turn split the fairway or risk ending up ‘in jail’ in the thick mature trees that line each side of the fairway.
Hole 3 is a Par 4 of tempting length with a portion of a lake jutting out in front of the green. You can play it safe, or
go for the gold. Either way this picturesque hole lends itself not only to the sport, but the beauty of the game of golf.
A beautiful course, I’ll definitely play here again. As a 12 handicapper, I held my own until I took a few chances on the back nine.
The course conditions were excellent, and the wooded layout made me feel I was out in the wilderness.

This is a very competitive course, it brings out the ‘thinking golfer’ in you. I would like to see the local pros play here,
I’ll bet it would be a real humbling event.

Hole 11 leaves little room for error. The tail prairie grass, and bunkered green needs to be blocked out of your mind when you tee
it up here. This is a beautiful hole that seems to be cut right of the wilderness.
I'm almost ready to play the 'Bobcat Course'. My son and I have been honing our skills on the 'Starter Course', we hope
to suprise dad perhaps on fathers day when we schedule a round on the championship course.
